ABOUT ME

I'm from Australia, living and working in France for a year so I can travel and meet people. I would describe myself as friendly and someone who loves to be around people. Whilst chilling out is nice every now and then, I'd much rather be doing things! At the moment I am based in France living with a host family so unfortunately I can't offer a couch but once I get the chance, I would love to give back to the CS community after I have experienced how enriching this can be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I often go to CS meetings in Geneva and have couch-surfed once before and it was the best experience I have had when visiting a new place - it just makes the stay so much more memorable when you can make friends and be shown around by a local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and only CS experience was when I stayed in Reims with my friend and we were shown around by our host. We were only meant to stay one night at the CS but we all had so much fun together we bought train tickets to Paris and all 3 of us spent a night out there! This experience made me ask myself, why haven't I been doing this for all the time I've been travelling?!

Interests

I'm most interested in travelling and seeing different and interesting parts of the world. I love languages, they fascinate me. I'm interested in skiing, diving (scuba and free dive), surfing, cooking, running, going out and having fun with friends. Just recently, after travelling, I have begun to realise how much I enjoy new people and how mind opening it is to make friends from all parts of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pioneering our way to the bottom of the Ibiza island to find Es Vedra- a sight I will never forget and the most incredible water I have ever dived.
