About Me
In a nutshell, I love to travel and I've always had a passion for classic cars and motorbikes so naturally i love to road trip!
I've recently launched my website: 'www.routesoul.com' to write about and share my adventures on the road.
Eventually i'd like to travel full time and live on the road, but for now i'm exploring new ways to travel and see the world on a budget between working for short periods of time back home in England.
I spent much of last year living in the USA, road tripping all around the west coast, as well as the midwest and dry states down south. Now i'm back in England for a while, i've had some great times in Europe recently too.
The world is full of wonder, there are beautiful places that i'll never get to see, friend's i'll never meet and experiences that i wont get to have, but i wont give up searching for them. For me, holding on to this passion for life, travel and adventure is my biggest aspiration.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because i think its a great way to meet like minded people when travelling. I've had so much fun making new friends when i've Couchsurfed, I love to travel and share my experiences with new people!
Interests
I've always had a love for classic cars and motorbikes. I love to create! I've been building/ fixing and working on classic cars from a young age. Its therapeutic for me. I also love music, i play guitar and try to capture feelings through music sometimes, writing, recording music etc.
I love to run, i started in 2016 and so far have run a bunch of 10k's and a couple of half marathons. Cycling is also one of my favourite ways to keep fit, i used to do a lot of mountain biking and bmx and recently i've taken to the roads on my bike not only to mix up my work out routine, but also as a way to travel!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open to most music and love finding new artists and bands to appreciate, but i'm a classic rock guy at heart.
Much the same with movies, i'm pretty open minded. I'm one of these people that watches a new movie, thinks its the best movie ever and forgets about it in a week.
I'm not a big reader, but when i do make time to read its usually either beat literature or something related to places i'm visiting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So, i think this has to be the trip i've just finished. I cycled from London to Rome. It took me about four weeks, riding 1,465 miles through France, Switzerland and all over Italy. It was the best experience, just me, my bike and everything i needed to survive in the wild. I met so many incredible people on my journey, i overcame some of the toughest physical challenges i've ever faced and without sounding cliche, it really was the most alive i've ever felt.
On top of that, i also raised over £1000 for a mental health charity in the UK, which was a bonus!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to share my experiences and teach what i can, things like playing guitar, handy/ tech things. Travel tips etc. Likewise i'm open to learning about anything!
