Hey, I'm Charlie - I have a dog named Keen, and we have many adventures together!

I love hearing about life stories and passions that people have - I think that no matter what your passion is, you absolutely need to follow it, and I'd like to be someone that is a catalyst for others following their passions.

I'm an electrical engineering student, currently working on a thin-film battery research project and maintaining radar software for some US and Canadian military battleships at Frontier Electronics here in Stillwater.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in that spot many times, where I didn't know where I was going to sleep that night, or if there would be problems - I've also looked forward to meeting new people and saving some cash that I'd have spent on a hotel.
Now that I have a couch, I want to help others in the same way that others have helped me in whatever way that I can - and hey, sharing a beer or two with a stranger can be fun, too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up one morning and out of the blue decided to just drive west with my buddy, three weeks later we had traveled over 12,000 miles, got stuck in the desert, saw the grand canyon, a meteor crater, california, lake tahoe, wyoming, las vegas, the state that is only corn, aka nebraska, and some other stuff that I'd need to bust out the ol' facebook albums to remember
