I'm from Berlin, where I spend nearly all my life until I moved away for uni. I currently still study Urban design and am generally quiet interested in cities, their culture and their quirks.

I love travelling to different countries and find it best to not only do the touristy stuff of visiting monuments but also get in contact with locals. Couchsurfing offers this in places where I - until now - know nobody.

My favourite music depends on the mood I'm in - from Florence to Mumford and Sons via Bob Dylan and Blondie you can even find me listening to Mozart.
I'm not much of a film expert but do enjoy a good night with friends watching a film with a nice glass of wine.
Books take up most of the space in my life as it makes me relax and forget about time. I love to read all kinds - from novels to fiction to non-fiction.

I travelled around India drinking masala chai with so many wonderful people. Then in Morocco I did the same with some mint tea.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I like to learn about new countries, cultures, cities and people by visiting, meeting and talking to them. I can share some inside to some architectural and urban history as well as having in interest in different topics.
And if the conversation comes to a halt I have a pretty impressive knowledge of what Germans call "unnützes Wissen" - unnecessary knowledge, like the place with the only street sign printed white on black.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Since I'm a vegetarian and am living with a vegan I can cook and bake some pretty delicious meals and cakes. Add a wine and it's a great starter for an evening filled with (hopefully) inspiring conversations.
