About Me
Personal Life Philosophy: Fun, Food and Frantic .
Hello I am down at the SF Bay Area after finishing my 4 year undergrad in the east coast. Coming from east coast, I have not fully got used to the torching sunshine here in the day time, but I m glad it will soon be a first no-snow winter for me.
I was born in Shanghai, came to the states five years ago for education and am now working in the Bay Area. Personally, I enjoy cooking, swimming, movies, having conversations over a glass of wine, and practically anything that involves learning something new. Apart from above mentioned activities, classical and jazz music is another passion of mine. I also watched quite a bunch of animation years ago. So if u r anime fan, we could watch couple episodes on my TV. I look forward to meeting people from around the world, so do not hesitate to reach out!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part about traveling is meeting different people and partaking in diverse cultural practices. It teaches us how to spread goodwill and be humble, to listen and learn rather than talk. Because what is better than to know more and see the world with a broader perspective? It is also a great way to share laughter and our own little stories. I approach this platform with an altruistic philosophy that small acts of kindness keep the world afloat, and I would like to share memorable and life-changing experiences with people who believe in it as I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) Cooking: I cook everyday as it is a necessary part of my daily life. The aroma from food helps me alleviate pressure from work.
2) Sports: I was swimming every single day during my sophomore year and I still do that couple times a week. (Luckily, we have a pool in the office.) I was also on a bike journey to Tibet couple years ago. Biking at an altitude of 3000 meters was really unforgettable experience for me haha.
3) Adventures: I was on a field trip with 2041 to Antartica back in high school! It is a long story and I would love to share with u in person :D
Teach, Learn, Share
Conversation and positive energy! Funny bits in my life, jokes for good :D
Perhaps an evening of classical and jazz music as well if u like music. Either way I assure you will have good company with fun stories and sheer magic of politeness. So please feel free to inform me of special conditions or other requests to avoid unintended inconveniences.
