I'm an avid cyclist and mountain biker. I am a pharmacist by profession and my wife, Leona, is a professional chef who was born and raised in Zambia. We have travelled the world extensively. We love to meet travelers of all ages and we love to swap stories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been hosting Pacific Crest Trail through hikers for years via my son's account but he now lives in the UK. My wife and I are happy to host hikers, cyclists and, other travelers. I also host long-distance cyclists via https://www.warmshowers.org We are happy to "pay back" favors other have bestowed upon us while traveling throughout the years. International travelers welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt Kiliomanjaro and Mt Kenya. Walked hundreds of miles through remote regions of Madagascar, cycled up the Alpe d'Huez, the Stelvio, Gavia and others. My wife and I studied the ancient rock art in the canyons of Utah, Arizona, California, South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania. etc, etc, etc. (Sorry... my "amazing things" are like potato chips... you can't have just one ;) )
