I grew up in the lovely green countryside of Devonshire in the UK and I enjoy being in places that are rich with natural life.

I have recently finished directing and producing a feature length documentary with my partner, so I might be called a filmmaker now :) I have also made lots of short films and videos previously, some professionally and I think films have great potential to awaken hearts and minds.

I've visited around 30 different schools, many of them with my partner who I made the documentary with, as part of our project - Wondering School - in Brazil, Portugal, UK, Netherlands and Spain.

I played Taiko drums for about 9 years and performed in Japan and Italy and across the UK.

Before making this profile I co-hosted many couchsurfers in the past via a friend when we lived together for a few years. CouchSurfing has allowed me to meet many great people from all parts of our wonderful planet, it's such a great platform bringing people of the world closer together!

Intereses

I love learning and discovering what it means to be human in this wonderful world and I love reading radical books on education and societal transformation. I like all sorts of things, but especially I like laughing and I like friends and also I like dancing to music, philosophising, meditating / trying to stay focused, skateboarding, playing with a diabolo, doing handstands and making ridiculous silly videos.

I like to stop, think and listen with John Cage, but think not and dance a lot to tropical house. I sway with Bob Marley and bow down to Enkh Jargal. With John Lennon, I am a dreamer too, Bach gives me shivers and c2c give me sick beats, Ali Farka Toure gives the strings spirits of their own, I feel like Leãozinho with Caetano Veloso and Laurie Anderson's superman gives me shivers.
