Overview
About Me
I'm currently living and working in Zhuhai, China. It’s very close to both Macau and Hong Kong. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I majored in fine art (with a concentration on painting, drawing, printmaking) and art history. I love to travel and experience different languages, cultures, and cuisines. Puedo hablar en español también. Mi piacerebbe praticare l’italiano. 我正在学习中文。
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people that have insight from other walks of life. I'm such a curious person who is always hungry to learn. Let’s exchange languages!
Interests
A lot of my energy lately has been put towards learning mandarin. 加油 I really love to shoot 35mm film and make prints in the darkroom. My biggest inspiration and love in life is the ocean. I think I was a mermaid in a past life. I love to skate, surf, scuba dive, paint, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
My all-time favorite band is the Black Keys, but I listen to a little bit of everything. I particularly love the blues, classic rock, and punk. My favorite movie is probably "A Knights Tale" but I love to watch nature documentaries. I read a lot of fiction, my favorite author is Janet Evanovich. I also love poetry and art history text.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve done too many cool things. Let’s share stories over a beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently an art teacher at an international high school. I taught English in Italy for a bit and I also taught it out here in China. I love to educate the youth and I want to learn many different languages. In Las Vegas, I worked at a Japanese steak house as a Teppanyaki chef. I love to cook and learn about local cuisine when I travel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, so it would be wonderful to share a meal. I usually lean towards a vegetarian diet when I cook for myself; however, I like to try all types of local cuisine. I have a new pull out couch right now in my apartment for the next couple months and would love to meet new people. I'm very passionate about all that I do and would love to discuss the world with fellow earthlings.
