Hi, I am Charlie Wang who is living in Lanzhou city, Gansu Province China now. Nice to be here to meet so many friends who come from different country. I started to work for a globle oil service company on 2004 and finished in 2015. Fortunately, I went to work in Saudy, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Papua New Guinea While I was working as field supervisor and I made some many friends who come from different country at that moment. Due to the low oil price and I was laid off on the beginning of this year and I started to work as local manager for New Oriental Online education in Lanzhou city now, I hope that I could meet more foreigner friends from Couchsurfing to help more Chinese kids to learn different language and meet different people from overseas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I started to host some foreinger who ride bycicle from England to China on November 2014, I arranged them good accomodation in my provious university and took them around of the city. After that I became the member of the warmshower and I did host some guys from France this year on July. When I changed my career and I hope that I could have chance to know more foreigner and if You are intersted to help our west Chinese students to learn their Language, it could be good experiece for these foreigners.

I just rent a apartment in the campus and I can provide the simple accormadation for you if you plan to come to Lanzhou for a short time stay and teach English for the local students , please contact with me !

Also I love travelling very much and I am very family with the scenes nearby Lanzhou city and I am a very good local guider as well, so if you Just look for the local to take you around , I will be your best option as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Due to I am living in the small apartment with my two kids so I can not give you accomodation with my family, but I can provide simple accomodation in the campus if you want to know more about Chinese university.
