Music, Movies, and Books

Not big on favorites, but here goes...Favorite poets: Jack Gilbert and Tony Hoagland. Prose writers—first I loved Tom Robbins, then Hemmingway, then Denis Johnson. Just read Karl Ove Knausgaard's My Struggle Vokume 1. Favorite film directors: Terrence Malick, Tarentino, some Lynch, Linklater, etc. Wow, a lot of white dudes. Sorry diversity. Music though: I love hip hop and reggae and electonic music. As I've gotten older I've started listening to more indie rock, folk, and even country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
