Hello all! I'm not very good at describing myself so I've asked a friend to do it for me. She says:

"You've been to cool places, done cool things
you like going to the pub and drinking some ale
you like hanging out with your over-sized family

do you like any particular kinds of food?

In answer to her question, I love all kinds of foods. Especially empanadas.

I love meeting locals and enjoy improving my Spanish, so this website is ideal for me. I generally like meeting new people from around the world so when I return to England I would be glad to host you!

Only in London, where I have become familiar with a number of my friend's couches!

Interests

I am interested in meeting people and, right now, in improving my Spanish. I love exploring different cultures, especially when that culture involves food and drink. I am a music obsessive although for the last two months I have only been listening to spanish-speaking music - so very interested to hear your recommendations! Finally, I love cooking, although nowadays I am usually found during meal times by those nice food stands that sell empanadas. I love those things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music but my all time favourite is Pulp. I am currently trying to get into music from Spanish-speaking countries - my current favourite is Bersuit. Before this I was enjoying Alabama Shakes, Dr Dog, Black Keys and My Metal Jacket. I like all sorts of books and movies! I read books to relax so usually read things which are quite mindless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing up the River Nile was a highlight for me!

Don't do what I do and leave everything to the last minute. Otherwise you end up in a crappy hostel desperately trying to fill in your couchsurfing profile in time!
