Overview
About Me
I'm just a little human trying to live with compassion and honesty.
I'm currently living in Salamanca for my Erasmus exchange!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through Couchsurfing, I'm hoping to meet like-minded individuals I can share my passion for traveling and learn about different cultures and lifestyles.
I explored quite a bit of the UK thanks to the Couchsurfing community and now it's my time to GIVE BACK. I don't have as much of a chance to move around at the minute, but I'm excited to meet people who can bring a little part of their culture to me.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
ALL KINDS OF STUFF!! I love to discover new artists so I'll listen to pretty much anything that I find intriguing/new/that makes me want to move around (definitely a huge pink floyd and queen person though - and I also love tash sultana and glass animals). I listen to a lot of Agar Agar and The Clash these days
Movies:
ALL THINGS QUIRKY, UNUSUAL AND THAT MAKE ME THINK (films like ''V for Vendetta'', ''Pride'', ''Fight Club'', ''The Lobster'', ''Milk'', ''Her'')
Books:
My favourite book is ''The Prophet'' by Kahlil Gibran. Hands Down. Close seconds are ''Peter Pan'' and ''The Little Prince''.
Also POETRY POETRY POETRY (I have a soft spot for spoken word - check out Rupi Kaur and Phil Kaye), short stories (Jhumpa Lahiri writes amazing stuff) and pretty much any book that can get me hooked.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered in England for a year in a home for people with disabilities. It changed me forever and the amazing people I met there gave me all kinds of hope in humanity.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm fluent in English and French and am learning Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Modern Greek, so I always love to connect around languages.
Also I'm a pretty decent cook when it comes to vegan dishes !
What I Can Share with Hosts
FOOD!! I love cooking for people.
I spent most of my confinement (you know the one) learning to make all my favourite things from scratch and trying out dishes from lots of different cultures.
And of course, good conversation, a drink and card games are always on the table (see what I did there? ;))
