I work as an Occupational Therapist in a small city north of Montréal and I absolutely love what I do. My purpose is to help injured people get back to their daily life and meaningful activities.

As most people on CS, I love traveling, breathtaking landscapes and I am very interested in other countries' history and traditions. I am a very curious person and I am always up for an adventure. Also, I love good wine and dark beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way I know to really explore a destination and learn about the culture. I have surfed the couches of many people in Europe, Australia and California and I had a wonderful experience. Couchsurfing has shown me the greatness and the kindness of human beings and it proves it's right to have confidence in people.

We live in Sainte-Adèle which is a great place for outdoor activities (ski, hiking, mountain bike, etc.) and touristic things. There is a spa less than a km away where you can relax.

Interests

SPORTS ! Swimming, running, cycling, rockclimbing, hiking, longboarding, yoga...
MUSIC ! I love going to concerts or jams and I pretty much listen to music all the time. I particularly enjoy ska, reggae, rocksteady, classic rock music.
TRAVEL ! I am planning a trip to Chile in February, can't wait!
FAMILY! I am super close to my family. I have 3 sisters and one brother, amazing parents, 2 nephews and 2 nieces who are the cutest and coolest kids I have seen in my life!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Westbound train, The Slackers, Aggrolites, The Beatles, Sam Roberts, Cat Empire, Mad Caddies, Streetlight Manifesto and many oh so many more!

Books: Any that can change the way you think or teach you something new. One of my favorite: "Message des hommes vrais au monde mutant".

Movies: Comedy, Action, Drama. (Into the Wild, Pulp fiction, Forest Gump, Billy Maddison, etc.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Sri Lanka during my teenage years was amazing :)
Backpacking and hitch hiking around Europe for a whole summer.
Living in California for an internship during 3 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how to play guitar or any instrument and speak all languages.
I can teach you French and give you yoga lessons. I can also teach you swimming, CPR and first aid as I used to work as a lifeguard :)
