About Me
Hello! I'm an Alaskan Doctor in Physical Chemistry, currently living in Estonia where I'm building a laser. When not working on science, most of my time is spent playing/making music, although I can be caught doing just about anything. I tend to do things on a whim, because it's more fun to live with some edge. I should probably listen to the old adage, "Look before you leap," but Link from Zelda taught me that if I roll after a long fall, I don't get hurt.
Sorry, but my one condition is that YOU MUST HAVE REFERENCES. I've been burned before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because meeting locals in some new place is the best! There's always something that happens that makes you realize that it's not just about a couch, it's about making friends. So I am here to be supported by some and help support others. The connections in life define everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Truly amazing things should be rare. I could list off a number of really cool stuff, but I don't know if I've ever actually been amazed. I guess, for the sake of conversation: I've slept in a glacier crevasse.
I actually am amazed that I once thought I could ride down a steep bike trail with no handlebars.
Teach, Learn, Share
I consider myself a scientist, with no denomination. I am just as happy discussing Quantum Mechanics as I am talking about Sociology. I love modeling complexity with a simple analogy or basic rules. I'm also somewhat of an artist, and can share songs, poems, or creative projects.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The secrets of how to make amazing cheeseburgers or tacos.
Songs, Stories, Card games, Knowledge or just some plain old fun.
