About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Always be learning, never be bored.
ABOUT ME
I've got a background in hard science, but my job is teaching and administering energy efficiency programs. I like to read, watch movies, hang out with friends, and workout. I'm sarcastic and like to laugh, but I know when to be serious, so sometimes I'm laid-back and sometimes I can be a little intense. I like good conversations and getting to know people, so I hope that's what I find here.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too complicated for any philosophy to be adequate, but there are a few goals I have. I try to always be learning. I try to do things I'm passionate about. I try to be around good people who help with the first two, and I try to be that same person for others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been attending local CS meetings in an effort to get to know the community. Couchsurfers are an eclectic bunch but I've met some really cool people in my own area, and that just encourages me to meet more somewhere else.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only surfed a few times but each time has been a blast.
Interests
Traveling (obviously), reading, movies, dancing (just getting started), tai chi, meditation, computers, science, hiking, meeting new people.
