ABOUT ME

hmm, not a lot to say about me.
I left the comforts of "home" to travel New Zealand and one day the world. I worked in the film/television industry for some years in the States and would love the opportunity to work in the industry abroad. I realized some years back, that there comes a time in life when all you want to be when you "grow up", is happy.
I've found my "happy" here, amongst the faces and hearts of the world, who didn't know me, yet welcomed me anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am, for now, settled in a house in my hometown and I have a small love seat or airbed to offer and will soon have a futon. There is plenty of floor space as well. I should be able to do airport pickups and/or take you around town. I hope to one day do for others what you, CS, have done for me.. Give me back my faith in humanity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had a few surf experiences, but they have been really amazing. The people you meet and their generosity overwhelms me. I feel welcome and safe in my CS experience. I hope this is just the beginning of one EPIC adventure.
(It has been. One EPIC adventure.)

Interests

EVERYTHING. Especially films and books. I love to read. I love to be outdoors, in NZ anyway. I love to be indoors when its raining. ha
I'm up for MOST anything. I'm not one to jump out of a plane or throw myself off of a bridge... yet

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of it!
I hiked "Mt. Doom"! ('Nuff said =)) Went to Cape Reinga (beautiful). Worked in a Kiwi orchard, a mandarin orchard, and got to work in film/television in NZ!

Teach, Learn, Share

Trust.
I come from the States where things are different. We are scared people. Trust is something we lost long ago. It was.. a challenge, to trust in NZ. I mean, if you hitchhike in the States, you're taking your own life into your hands. But there, its just..the way of the world. I love that I was able to allow myself to trust again and I want to bring that to my life here in the States.
