ABOUT ME

Charlie: I am very laid back and easygoing. I love to learn new things and meet new people. Looking to go to school for alternative energy. I was born to travel. I enjoy most music and respect all types of it. My favorite view of the world is from the top of a mountain. I dislike corporations and people with bad dispositions. In most of my travels, I'm wingin' it.

Jaclyn: I, too, am very easygoing. It is impossible to offend me because I am very aware that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I often fly by the seat of my pants. I am working towards getting my masters in nutrition counseling. I like to keep all my options wide open. Fixed gear bicycles are another love of mine, as i am a 'retired' bicycle messenger. I like to support the little guy business, organic farming, and natural birth. I hope that I can do a bit of hitch-hiking while in Europe.

Hosting surfers while we are home. If we can't host then at least meeting up for a drink and conversation.

Charlie: Building and fixing everything, surfing, snowboarding, playing the bass, riding anything that ends with 'cycle,' anything having to do with nature.

Jaclyn: I love to craft! If there was a practical way to travel with my sewing machine, I would. I love to rollerskate!! - I am a coach/player of roller derby. I am attempting to learn the banjo. I love to cook almost as much as I love to eat... I like it healthy. Let's share a pot of tea. I'm down for any outside activities. Show me the local microbrews and one of a kind cafe's.

Oh BABY! Let's exchange knowledge and skills!! Charlie can show you how to build or fix almost anything, and Jaclyn can tell you a few things about nutrition, holistic health, and women's womenly parts (pregnancy and fertility, etc). We are willing to barter skills and/goods. Yoga class, anyone??

We want to learn about organic farming and homesteading... basically anything that will help us thrive if the shit ever hits the fan. We would love anything that will insprire us to creat functional arts and/or crafts...
But really, we are down to learn about anything that you may know about.
