Hi i'm Charlie! I've been living in London the past two years and absolutely loved it. I am moving back home to Sydney, Australia, traveling to ten countries on the way as a final huge trip. I'm a trained high school teacher but made a career change. I was Content and Marketing Manager at a start up company in London called Streats, an app that helps people find street food (@getstreats on Instagram). Photography is a big passion of mine, as well as playing sport, listening to music and learning (une petit peu) to speak French. I've always wanted to learn how to surf (especially being an Aussie) so i've enrolled in a few surf camps in Taghazout, Morocco and Mimizan, France. I'd love to meet people who are easy going, sociable and like to have a laugh. It would be great to return the favour one day and have them visit me in Sydney.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Currently travelling across Europe, Africa and Asia as I slowly return back home to Sydney, Australia.
I would love to meet locals to have a fun time and a unique experience. I would also like to find people who could offer me a place to stay as well as show me the local spots to go. If they have the time it would be amazing to hang out with them and get to know them, you never know where we might meet again.

I became a member back in 2015 but only now have I decided to make the most of this amazing network of people.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Recently learned how to surf in Taghazout, Morocco.
It's was my first time in Africa, learning about the culture of the Amazigh (aka Berber people), surfing daily at the local spots and stopping by the bakery for round bread made in a traditional oven.
