ABOUT ME

I am currently living in paradise. It's beautiful here and we get to surf and boogie board everyday.

I am outgoing and enjoy making new friends. I enjoy eating out but am much happier having a lovely dinner party at home than going out to a fancy restaurant.

PHILOSOPHY

Don’t take life seriously… it’s far too short.

Enjoy life and experience as much as you can.

Interests

I love enjoy outdoor activities - enjoy hiking, rock climbing, canyoning, kayaking, surfing and skiing. I love camping and in the summer months, frequently combine these activities to make an awesome, activity filled weekend.

I have a passion for traveling and have visited many countries. I prefer to spend my money on travel rather than buying a house or an expensive car. Seeing new places teaches you so many things and makes us realize how much we take for granted. We really are very lucky. The more I see of the world, the more I realize how much more there is to see.

I have just become hooked on cycle touring and this summer cycled 1,600kms through Eastern Europe. Cycling is a really great way to see the countryside and how people live. We carried our tent and food with us so we could go where we pleased. It really gives you a sense of freedom.

I love going out with a big group of friends but will just as happily have a dinner party at home with small group.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock music – The Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, U2, Green Day etc but enjoy just as much the crooners from the 30’s and 40’s like Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel or good old Jazz with a glass of red wine.

I love seeing live bands and often go to concerts. I enjoy the smaller venues as it is more intimate than a place with thousands of people, although these can be fun too.

I enjoy reading and have just finished the popular – Eat, Pray, Love.
