About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Host/catch up with some travellers in preparation for our 3 month trip to South America!
ABOUT ME
Easy going, relaxed, chilled out :) I'm taking life as it comes at the moment, hoping to once again live the dream of any traveller and having as much fun as possible along the way :)
PHILOSOPHY
Just bloody well be happy! It's not hard to realise how much fun life is, so just go out there and live it and have a good time! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted, surfed and travelled with many from the couchsurfing community. I think it's a fantastic way of meeting people and getting to know the city you're in!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Awesome times in Germany during the world cup 2006 - Kaiserslautern, Köln, Hamburg, Berlin and also Barcelona just afterwards. Stayed with some excellent people there and really have to thank them all for making my trip so much more excellent.
Have hosted a bunch of people, but not as many as I'd have liked (mainly as I feel that if I can't show people around town as well as provide a place to crash I'm not giving them the full couch surfing experience) but am definitely looking to host some more!
2010 travelled for 10 months all around the world, met some amazing people and went to some outstanding places. If I could redo all of that I would in a heartbeat!
Interests
Just hangin out and being social :)
Games - of the board, card, dice, computer or other variety.
Football (the round ball sort, as well as the Aussie version!), and any other sport :)
Computers... kind of needed for the work i do :)
- traveling
- socializing
- surfing
- sports
- soccer
- world cup
- biology
Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list (I know that's a crap answer!):)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The trip i took in 2006! all of it! too many things i've seen so far, but Japan just blew me away, definitely need to go see more of it! Germany during the World Cup was simply outstanding.
I can't leave out the awesome 2010 version as well. Travelling to dozens of countries on a 10 month trip was just mind blowing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learnt so much at uni, not just from the subjects i did, but from the social interactions i had. I'm more than happy to share my knowledge of how to have a fantastic time. :)
Also some computer skills and Molecular Biology background (which I've since forgotten!)
