ABOUT ME

I am a well-mannered eccentric. I like books and music and words and rad eighties/nineties teen films like Teen Wolf and I also like friends.

I don't like awkward introductions, so when we meet, I might be brandishing a mad grin and preparing to accost you with lame humour so that you will like me straight away. You will probably think I'm just lame without the "like" part, but at least you'll know that I'm not a threat - just lame. Lame, as in uncool by the way, not lame, as in unable to walk properly.

Speaking of being unable to walk properly, I am actually quite clumsy, so I guess I'm lame in all senses of the word. If you have stairs, or, medium to large bodies of water such as ponds or pools or swamps, or, sharp-edged furniture, or, other hazards that might disrupt my ongoing struggle to move around in the world then maybe this won't work out.

Please let me surf your couch. I won't make you laugh, I guess, but I'll teach you all about Australian wildlife.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few times now (and hosted some pals in Paris). It's been real swell. Truly. I don't think I'll ever stay in a hostel again. You just don't see a city the same way as when you couchsurf. I dig I dig I dig.

Intereses

Writing stories, literature allsorts, music-making, grand adventures, the beach, baking gluten free goods (I have allergies), guzzling terribly cheap wine, drunkenly strumming guitars, falling over in the snow, falling over in general, bikeriding around town with the sun in my hair.
