About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn a language and how to do cartwheels, climb a small mountain.

ABOUT ME

I've just graduated University in Bristol doing Politics and International Relations and although it mean't I learn't that a career in Politics definitely wasn't for me it opened my eyes to a lot of issues and things in the world i hadn't taken the slightest interest in before. I did my dissertation on Human Trafficking for labour and sexual abuse within Europe. Concentrating alot on asylum seekers and immigrants, this made me realise how lucky I am to be able to travel everywhere in the world without much holding me back (ignoring money). I never want to under apprciate this freedom again and so I want to travel and work abroad as much as possible.

I also worked as a student in a theatre in Bristol which I loved, loads of funny experiences there where every day was different. I also made the best friends a girl could wish for. If you fellow travelers ever get a chance to visit Bristol, please do, go for the art, the food, the cider and just the general vibe its a lovely place.

I'm now going to to try help x if anyone has heard of it before a bit like wwoof in Italy for 2 weeks, then we plan to finish our trip in salzburg on 12th of september if anyone lives anywhere between these 2 places and can over a floor, couch, bed for us to sleep on we would be very grateful or if anyone has any advice on the cheapest way to travel between Genoa and Salzburg please please get in contact.

After that i'm heading back to england, I'd rather not and carry on my adventure so if you have any ideas please share. From November till april i will be staying in Kitzbuhel in Austria working for crystal ski for 6 months, i love the mountains and can't wait to be skiing all the time. After that I don't know what more traveling maybe further a field.

PHILOSOPHY

you can never make to many friends, do what makes you happy, happiness and friendliness is contagious no one can be that mean to smiley person. Try everything once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member for a few years but never really been in an opportunity to put myself fully into the project. I'm finally ready to go and make some new experiences. After or even maybe during my ski season i will be able to host ocassionaly but at the moment i live with my dad and I haven't quite sold him on the couch surfing yet. I will keep trying though. I am also really interested in work exchanges and hitch hiking. I think the web has given me all these opportunities to connect with people all over the world and i can't wait.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend louise came on a couch surfing trip last autumn, she told me all about this website and then came and stayed with me for a couple of days.

Interests

Reading, Movies, drawing (badly), going out for a good boogie, Food I love food! The Outdoors (after being sat in front of a screen writing my dissertation for a few months i'm ready to set down the computer), cycling (I absolutely love my bike and i wish i could take it everywhere with me its pink with a basket, i'm never happier than when i'm on my bike going down a steep hill). I'm interested in current affairs. Activism, sustainability, environmental issues and gardening are all something I would like to learn a lot more about.
