About Me

Not really an enthusiast of Disney or universal studios. Too expensive and commercialized. I’m more than willing to show you the other parts of the city and go on adventures outside the city for hiking or to the beach. I'm passionate about waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. Also, in my free time, I like to volunteer and better know my community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing in order to get fluent in Spanish, and learn from people with different backgrounds. I always enjoy meeting new people, and getting a sense of their culture. So I'm really impressed if you offer to cook something from your home.

Interests

It's my goal to try everything at least once. At this point I love sports (basketball and baseball are my favorites), street art/graffiti (I stencil), Spanish culture, music, yoga, reading... the whole enchilada. .

Music, Movies, and Books

Hip hop is where my heart is along with blues and R&B. For movies and books I like the adventure genre. Wes Anderson's movies are beautifully filmed and make me laugh. Currently, I'm trying to read books in sustainability and related to my field. "Teachings of Don Juan" is a great book to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked solo through South America for 6 months. Although I did lose my passport.... haha

Teach, Learn, Share

Traveling to me is about all three. I want to have conversations with people who were raised differently and experience life in a different way, through a different set of eyes. This will lead me to be more humble when viewing the world from my home country. I wish more Americans would participate in this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook pretty well, make some pretty cool stencils that make a nice contribution to any blank wall, or collages.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Canada, Chile, Italy, Netherlands, Panama, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Peru, United States
