Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Live life to the fullest and experiencing all that I can.
ABOUT ME
If you are in a "Karaoke situation", I've got your back.
I chose my name Charlie after the silent film comedian Charlie Chaplain (because no one in my elementary school could pronounce my Korean name).
I'm 5' 7" (167 cm) tall weighing 145lbs (65 kg) so I shouldn't take up too much space on your couch :-)
Born in South Korea during the mid 1980's and moved to the U.S. when I was seven years old. Grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and studied mechanical engineering in New York. I lived/worked in Korea from 2008-2010 and am currently working abroad until fall of 2011. I just moved to Germany (Fall 2012) and am excited about exploring!
I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and meeting new people over a meal or drinks. I prefer red wine over white and my friend and I once drank a bar (aptly named Shenanigans) out of Guinness :-)
I love playing in the snow :-)
PHILOSOPHY
You only live once so live it without any regrets
Leave things in better condition than when you found them

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The hat toss at my graduation. Ask me about it and I'll show you pictures :-)
Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Everyone has something to share or teach. Whether it is juggling apples, underwater basketweaving, doing laundry without all your whites turning pink or even making a kick ass bean dip...
I once spent three hours on a train from Rome to Paris showing fellow travelers how to fold origami cranes and frogs. The best part was that I spoke English/Korean and my new friends spoke either French or Italian :-) We still enjoyed each other's company and had a blast despite the language barrier.
