About Me

I was born and raised in Paris but I move to Brittany recently. I live in Nantes and I love my city but love to leave it once in a while to enjoy the countryside, the sea, forests and nature...
I could listen to the birds singing all day long !
I don't travel as much as I'd like but hope to meet more international people thanks to CS.
I practice artistic and manual activities such as stained glass. I'm also a juggling enthusiast and occasionally play the jaw's harp and African percussion, but my favourite instrument is the yidaki (didgeridoo).
I still see the world through the eyes of a child and i fill with wonder of little things.
I'm vegetarian and love animals, especially cats even if I don't have one currently.
I don't drink alcohol and I try to feed myself healthily.
When I don't know people, at first I'm pretty shy. I'm not very talkative but I love listening to others and their great travel stories. Once I am comfortable, then I can be chatty, especially when it comes to certain subjects I'm passionate about, such as archives and old papers, I've even made a career out of it.
I don't speak English fluently but enough to understand and to be understood.

***

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for meeting and cultural enrichment. I think to hang out with locals is the best way to travel and to learn and improve new languages. As a guest, i like the sweetness of a home, even for an evening.

***

Climbing a Carpathian mountain (Toaca peak in Romania) in the middle of the night to witness the sunrise at the very top. Once a year, thousands of people go there at dawn, and it's just magic
