ABOUT ME

I'm Charline, 23, lived in Toulouse (France) until 2 years ago, when i first moved in Manchester...

Nothing excite me more than a new challenge, being able to start something new, meet people who are passionate and kind.
I'm in love with the UK, and how mixed it is, how people share their culture.
More about myself: I'm crazy about cycling (but couldn't take my bike with me), cinema & music, which sound really random but i do spend my time searching, listening or learning from it.
I am an excellent host: i cook, do conversation, clean, i'm polite and i smile all the time. OOH and i love wine, and know how to make cocktails ;)
I am also very respectful with other people intimacy, it is important to me to let people have their own things without interfere in any way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time in England, 2 years ago with the lovely Tomasz, we shared dinners, long conversations, night out. That remains such a good and inspiring experience :)

Musica, film e libri

A lot of movies (theater once a week) but right now i'm trying to see old italian movies: Dolce Vita, la Strada etc...
Music is one of motive to come in England: The jam, Beatles, Smiths, but also young artists like Jake Bugg, Artic Monkeys, Foxygen, Frustration, Tame Impala, Jack of Heart, bands signed in Born Bad Records....
And obviously books, especially french writers, or by now i'm reading a Kundera's Book

Insegna, impara, condividi

Something is very important for me: i don't just want to sleep somewhere, i want exchange with people who are in love with their city. Actually I'm sure we all teach, learn and share with each other.
What can i share? My enthusiasm, curiosity and my culture!
