I'm open minded and hoping to travel the world!

I am 26 years old and have just graduated from the University of Nottingham, I completed a year abroad in China as a part of my degree, which I loved! I'm currently living in a tiny studio, hence the not accepting guests, I hope one day I can repay the favour as I have had really good experiences on couchsurfer so I hope other travellers can have a good experience with me sometime in the future :)

I love travelling, experiencing new cultures and learning about a new place, and I think couchsurfing is a great way of doing this! I also love horses and have been horse riding since the age of 7, which I have continued at uni and I also enjoy going to the gym, swimming and trampolining.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and to experience life as a local as much as possible. I also love seeing new places, hearing new languages, learning about the history or stories about a place and I love having international friends. I have found all of them so welcoming and helpful whether they were a local or also a fellow traveller, so it has always been a great experience for me and I can't wait to meet some more amazing people to share our cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By the age of about 6 I'd travelled with my family to 5 different continents! Now that I'm older I can't wait to explore more and keep adding to the list.

I've also lived in the Basque country in the North of Spain briefly twice when I was working as an Au Pair and I have completely fallen in love with the Basque culture and language and cannot wait for my next visit!

I lived in China for one year as it was a part of my course. I lived in Ningbo, two hours south of Shanghai, during this time I tried to say yes to every opportunity so I had a very interesting and varied experience. I also spent three months of the summer backpacking around and have visited 15/32 provinces in mainland China, plus Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
