About Me

Dear hosts and fellow couchsurfers,
I'm Charlott from Berlin, Germany, student at Humboldt University for English and Physical Education. I have almost finished my degree but before I write my Bachelor's thesis in October, I am ready to go on a little journey and see the world.
This year, Ireland, England, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand are on my bucket list.
When I'm not at university hearing a lecture or thinking about my travel plans, I work part time at a grocery store / supermarket and I play volleyball at least three times a week. I also love food and nutrition and I'm always eager to learn about new healthy ingredients and recipes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a brilliant platform to connect expats and hosts and provides the perfect opportunity to meet locals or other friendly people, do something fun and truly get to know and dive into other cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent an entire high school year in the states staying with a host family. During that year I met amazing people, had a lot of fun, learned to speak the best language in the world fluently which enabled me to talk to so many awesome people around the world.
Also, I went on a 2-weeks-long student exchange to Vietnam which has been one of the best experiences in my life. Friendly locals, delicious food and a totally different way of life - loved it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

cleanliness, humor, laughter, healthy cooking, all kinds of sportive activities, english language, german language, german chocolate if requested ;) , long, interesting conversations about life...
