Overview
About Me
I love getting to know new people and learn about/experience different cultures. I spent 10 months as an au pair in Genova, Italy, for those exact reasons and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Italy will always hold a special place in my heart because it was there that I got bitten by the travel bug. I've always loved traveling but now my wanderlust is a lot stronger and I have a different craving to see new places.
I'm a pretty calm person and not the one who makes the most noise in a crowd. With people I feel comfortable with I can be a lot chattier than otherwise, I can be chatty with strangers too unless we're on completely different wavelengths.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience a place to the fullest and meeting locals is a part of that. What better way could there be to do that than couchsurfing? I've only couchsurfed once, with a friend, and it was a great experience and made me even more positive to the idea of couchsurfing. Looking back and thinking about how much couchsurfing affected our trip and how we experienced things we wouldn't have done otherwise makes me so happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've dared to dance on stage, not on a big "fancy" event or anything, but still. I certainly felt like Bambi on thin ice from time to time, but I made it through without screwing up too bad! That has nothing to do with traveling whatsoever but still!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to learn Swedish I'm totally up for that :P but if that doesn't interest you, for some inexplicable reason, I think sharing travel and life stories with each other is enough to have a great evening.
