My name is Charlotte and I am a student/creative worker from Vienna. I am a joyful person, open-minded and always up for new experiences and meeting people. Right now, I am mostly studying (interdisciplinary art) and I work a lot with film, written text and performative/interactive arts. My past background is in journalism and philosophy, so I do all kinds of stuff :D

Maybe no surprise: I am very curious and like doing new things. In my free time I'm interested in cultural activities, film, music, dancing - - and also calmer activities, reading, writing (from investigative research, politics to prose), having conversations, hanging out with friends.... and especially while travelling: eating, cooking, exploring, wandering and getting lost.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people all over the world and get to know different realities. Discovering a part of the world with locals is always super fascinating and much more fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all different kinds of music. I am super into electro, synth, disco, also post punk and new wave. But I also enjoy classical music, soul and many more and happy to discover even more :D

My reading is often philosophical, I also enjoy learning about society, politics, history. Curious also here to learn about different places, times, ideas in a place I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Even though many of them are not I movie script-material, have had many breathtaking moments both in the silence of nature and the vibrant atmosphere of cities. I’ve made several road trips with our land rover, where we, at some point, just followed a path up and hoped that it would go down again as well. Also I like urban exploring, which has led me to amazing places.

I can help you with creative projects, show you how to find and work with wild clay, crochet something, do crafty work in the house or repair things. I really like cooking (for other people) and I can help with housework.
