Hi, I'm Charlie Brown (yep, like in Snoopy!) and I'm travelling around the world on my gap year, before going to study Psychology and Linguistics in the UK. I'm looking to go on amazing adventures but where I can also rest when needed, just chatting, playing board games, watching TV, cooking, reading,... I love baking and would happily make as many cakes/cookies as you want, as well as helping out around the house!!
I'm English but grew up in Belgium, so speak French fluently too, and I've learned Spanish and German. I love travelling and meeting new people, sharing our stories and adventures.
So far I've been to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Brisbane, and I'm currently WWOOFing in the Glasshouse Mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently WWOOFing, however I don't have any time to explore as I work 6-7h/7 days a week, so I'm looking for a place to stay whilst I explore Sunshine Coast. I'm more-or-less backpacking around the world alone (it's a big bag but an even bigger world) and I've not got much of a budget, so I think this is a great way to meet new people and be comfortable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Into Pop/rock, also some classical when I'm the mood. Love crime/detective books but also Harry Potter, it's by far my favourite world out there. Favourite TV show is BBC's Sherlock, if you've not seen it yet I insist we watch it together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have volunteered both in Benin, Africa and Nepal. In Benin I helped build a primary school in a remote village, living with the native families (no bathrooms or electricity!) for a month. In Nepal I taught in a children's home in Kathmandu, also for a month.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can attempt to teach you any of the languages I've learned, would love to learn to cook properly (I can do the basics) and of course will share as many stories as I can, in exchange for yours of course!

I'll share everything I know/I've learned, as well as loads of laughter and silly jokes and maybe some deep and intelligent conversations too.
