Hi there,

My name is Charlotte and together with my husband we decided to take a year off in order to travel and do voluntary work in Asia. So far we went to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, but we are planning to see as much of Asia as possible. Hopefully after that we still have budget for visiting Africa.

Although hotel booking sites offer wide range of accommodations, we love to get in touch with the local people and with other travellers. Staying in hotels make this less likely so therefor we look forward to try couchsurfing. Since we heard some great stories about people who did this before we are looking forward to go couchsurfing as well.

Voluntary work in Nepal: We spend a summer teaching Children English and Mathematics in Bhaktapur, which has been definitely one of the most amazing thing we've done so far. Living with a local family, learning about their culture and rituals made it even more amazing.

I love to cook, so we look forward to learn you about typical Belgian/European dishes. Furthermore, we've seen quite some great places in Europe and Asia so far, so we would love to share our adventures.
