Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a curious person. And I am not only curious about new countries or cities. I am also very curious about the people who live there, about the stories they can share, the way they live.
And as matter of fact… this is just the least expensive way to travel :)

Interests

Music… I am playing the bassoon, mainly in symphonic orchestras and I like to sing, though I'm not really good at it. I'm into contemporary art. Here in Taiwan I joined the university's windband <3
I like cycling, hiking, dancing, swimming, Yoga… I love being outside, in the woods, by the sea or in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Metal, Rock, Classical Music, Jazz, rarely Pop and Country. And everything new (Neue Musik).
I like good films with interesting characters with a sense of humor. Also Sci-Fi and fantasy. My favourite TV-Shows are Firefly, Veronica Mars, Supernatural, Castle and Twin Peaks.
The same criteria applies for books. I read stuff from every genre. But it has to be well written and – in some way – deep. Currently binge-reading the Peter Grant series by Ben Aaronovitch.
