Overview
About Me
We are currently traveling in Italy from Milan to Rome within 2,5 weeks :)
Max and me we are living in Köln Südstadt for about half a year now and we like to have people around in our flat :) We love to travel and while we're not, we let the world come to us 🌎
We are very open-minded people and interested in everything that's new. We love food, good conversations, Party on weekends and of course music.
Charly ist studying Cultural Sciences and Max is doing his phd in engineering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Charly: I traveled with friends of mine in Couchsurfing and now it was time to create my own account.
I made great experiences with the hosts. Having a drink, cooking, listening to music and exchange experiences you made on your journeys. Sometimes the host/guest visited the same country or city and you have even more to talk about, its great :)
I think Couchsurfing is perfect to get to know locals who are open-minded and share their city and experiences with you, but are also interested your way of life and want to learn from you.

Music, Movies, and Books
Charly: My music taste goes from flower-power 60's over 90's US Hip- Hop till cumbia and reggae. It also depends on the mood, situation or the phase I'm in.
I like good (!) rap for intense and critical lyrics, Indie for its harmony and cumbia for its rhythm and for making me want to dance :)
I'm not that much into movies, more into series (Shameless, Hannibal, Weeds, GoT, how I met, Black Mirror...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Charly: In Winter I've visited Romania with a friend and very few knowledge and expectation. We've seen four cities, stayed at couchsurfers homes and I've never learned so much about a country and its people in only a week. Like that just the way of playing "Jenga" can show you different political or historical heritages and making you aware of other ways of thinking :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share with our guests our cosy private jungle (yes, we have a lot of plants), way of life, experiences we made over the years and good conversations :) We are vegetarians, therefore the german kitchen ist not our favorite one, but Max is a great cook of asian dishes and we love to cook in general! Aaaand we have a nice balcony with a beautiful view where we can chill and have a beer/glass of wine. We also love music! (but who doesn't?)
