Overview
About Me
I'm about to finish my undergraduate degree in International Relations, after which I'll take a year off for travelling, internships, etc. Planning on doing a masters in International Law/Human Rights afterwards.
I'm active, talkative and in a good mood most of the time - unless you wake me up in the early morning, that's when my dark side comes out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I´m on Couchsurfing because I want to meet the people of the countries I´m travelling to - you just get a totally different impression of a country if it´s shown to you by someone who really lives there! - and to travel without spending a ton of money for hotels etc.
Also, I´ve had so many great experiences with couchsurfing that it has become impossible to stop now!
Interests
I like every kind of action, sports, and being outside all day. I like learning new words and languages, and everything that has to do with it, so I like reading and writing - and talking and meeting new people. I´m interested in history and politics, right now especially the Middle East. I love to eat (but who doesn´t?) and of course I love to travel!
I also have a small obsession with Dirty Dancing (it just keeps getting better everytime I watch it!) and electronic music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I actually really listen to all kind of music, except for maybe heavy metal.
Right now I listen a lot to AnnenMayKantereit and Von Wegen Lisbeth (German music, you should try it if you haven´t so far!), Alle Farben and AKA AKA.
My favourite author is probably Alice Munro - read every single book she ever wrote.
Movies, well, I told you about Dirty Dancing, and just recently I´ve seen Captain Fantastic, which I thought was great, too. Other than that I watch everything with Emma Stone, and I love all sorts of French movies.

Teach, Learn, Share
I´d love to learn more about a language from someone who naturally speaks it, because all the little details say so much about the culture as well. Other than that I´d love to learn as much as he or she knows about the country I´m visiting!
I would always share my awesome friends! I can´t think of a lot I can teach right now... wait, I can teach German, English, Russian, Spanish and a few Arabic words and letters and I have the best recipe for chocolate cake in the entire world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It was only last year when I started to cook, so I can´t claim to be good yet but I can say I cook at least decently ;) Other than that I like to share my experiences and thoughts and give an ear to everyone who wants to do the same. Of course I´ll be glad to offer my flat if he/she happens to be in good old Dresden, the furthest east of Germany.
