CURRENT MISSION

After travelling around the world during few months, I’m now living in Prague, CZ.
I use this opportunity to discover as much as I can Prague, Czech Republic and the countries around.

ABOUT ME

I'm French and from a medium-sized town in Burgundy (Dijon), known for its wine and mustard. After 2 years of studies in Administrative Management, I decided to work in order to acquire a professional experience and to save money for travelling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I'm living in Prague in a really small room, so unfortunately, I cannot host any people right now. But I really enjoy meeting new people and making the best out of everything. If I have my own apartment one day somewhere in the world, I would love to host travelers from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I don't have any experience in couchsurfing. But during my next trip in Europe I would like to meet local people to fully live my experience. Couchsurfing is the best way to discover a culture and its population and have a good time together!

Interests

I really love to spend time with my friends and my family while having dinner together or going out for a drink. My friends are really important to me, and I love spending time with them, talking, watching a nice movie, shopping, sharing valuable moments... I don't have any brothers and sisters, so I'm also very close to my mum. I'm a real French, so I love to eat good food. Sometimes I eat in restaurants 3 times a week to discover new foods and have a glass of a good wine (red wine exclusively). Cheese is one of my favorite dishes. It's a real passion for me to discover new kinds of cheese. In Burgundy we have a lot of regional dishes, it's the perfect region for food lovers. I'm also a big fan of tea. I can drink up to 2 liters of tea per day. I have two cats in my house. Sometimes my friends think I'm crazy because I use to say that my cats are my children.
When I'm in France, shopping is another passion. Real girl. But when I'm on my travels, it's not important for me.
And last but not least... travel, again and again. Discover new places, new cultures, new people. For now, this passion is above all!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I was not a big fan of books before, but since I'm travelling I love it. I try to read at least 1 book per month. When I'm travelling I can read one book per week but of course when I'm working it's not that easy. I can read every kind of books.

I love movies and series !!! I have, maybe, 250 movies in my room. I watch old movies, American movies, French movies (but they're not the best movies for me...). I can't say which is my favorite movie because there are too many. But, if I'd have to make a choice, I would probably chose "Dirty Dancing". Don't judge me haha, I'm a girl, and when I watched this movie for the first time, I was 10 years old, and the story was so beautiful, and the music in this movie was so catchy. I'm also more into the James Bond movies, from Sean Connery than the ones from Daniel Craig. I like all types of movies, except horror movies. Movies about true stories are one of my favorite type of movies. Clint Eastwood is one of my favorite actors, especially in "The Bridges of Madison County" with Meryl Streep.
I saw a lot of series, like Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad, One Tree Hill, Dexter, Arrow, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Malcolm, Narcos, Sons of Anarchy... When I have time, I love to watch an episode just before going to sleep.

About music, I listen to all types of music. One of my favorite song is Maria from Blondie. I love to discover new songs from my friends. I also like "old" music, and one of my favourite bands is The Beatles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not easy to choose just one thing, so i guess, it's the decision to travel alone in 2015 in Argentina and Chile. It was my first journey alone with my backpack, and the beginning of a new life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share any knowledge I have about France. I love my country, and I would be so proud if I can make you want to discover my country. I'm a very sociable and happy person, I try to always see the bright side. Every experience is a good experience for me. I try to pass on my love of living life to the people I meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course, I want to share our respective cultures with my hosts. Traveling is not just going from one city to another, but getting to know the local culture. And the best way to do that is to share the daily life of people. I hope that I will be able to show the people I meet, how we live in my country during my travels and make them want to discover my country one day as well. With hosts, the most important thing is to share.
