I'm at 22 year old graduate from the University of Birmingham, UK. After university I worked for a children's charity, Action for Children as a Business Support Officer for 6 months and then with the NHS as an administrator for 3 months. I decided I wasn't quite ready to settle for a long term career yet and decided to come travelling! This leads me to where I am now - travelling around New Zealand with my boyfriend for as long as we can manage to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to couch surfing - have many friends that have used it but never have myself. I'd like to couch surf as I'd like the opportunity to meet locals in the area I'm staying rather than learning things through tourist information/mainstream activities. I'd like to use couch surfing to meet new people, as a cultural experience and just to be able to have fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Very varied tastes in all of these. Music preferably more chilled 'indie' type of music but will listen to more or less anything. Movies preferably comedy genres and also very much enjoy reading and willing to give most books a go.

I volunteered in India for 10 weeks which altogether was an amazing experience!
