About Me
Hey,
I am an English 30 year old travelling around the world for 4 years now. Currently travelling with my Australian partner, 32. We're both super friendly who love meeting other people, but also totally cool if you like your space. We are very respectful of your home and your way of life and love learning from others.
I like to read, cook (pastry chef by trade), learn about permaculture and sustainability and outdoorsy things hiking or swimming, canyoning etc. My favourite hobby is scuba diving though, I'd be happy to live near a warm sea and have schools of fish as the only traffic in my day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and really get involved with the locals, it's the only way to really get to know a country and take something away with you.
Hotels are isolated socially, and hostels allow you to meet people but only other travellers. It's nice to mix it up by staying with someone from the area and get the real tips of what to see locally!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learn to dive was incredible and still my favourite thing to do. I am a terrible swimmer but somehow it works..
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation and different perspectives, cooking together, a place to stay when I settle (always working seasonally somewhere awesome a few months at a time!)
