Overview
About Me
I'm normally a doctor working in public hospitals in Melbourne, Australia specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology but this year my husband and I are travelling around the world discovering so many new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During our travels we've met so many people who have recommended couch surfing to us as the best way to get to meet local people and understand the culture. So I've signed up! We love having visitors to stay with us when we're in Melbourne so this will also be a way for us to host more when we are home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too hard ... but the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card and the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling are up there for books. My favourite movies are "Cabaret" and "The Matrix". I love all music except Heavy Metal and Country/Western.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ride my bicycle 1000km around Sri Lanka - it was hard work but so amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Travelling is the best way to learn about the world - it's people, cultures, environments, religions, languages and food. I hope to get a greater understanding of these through couchsurfing and share what I can offer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A warm smile and chats about the world. Practise/help with English. Travel advice for Australia and New Zealand (and some other places I've been). Maybe some medical knowledge?
