I’m originally from Hamburg, but spent eight years living in London, before I quit my job to travel the world. Covid ended my travels for a while, but I'm now back at it :) I work online and spend about half the year travelling and the rest of the time at my family home in the Northern German countryside.

When I'm in Germany (usually over the summer months) you're welcome to stay at my home! We live in a tiny village about an hour North of Hamburg. The nearest town is Neumünster which is a 15-minute drive away. We’re a big family of ten living here, including three kids (11- 18), plus horses, dogs and a cat.

Because of my dad's health condition, we can only host travellers who are vaccinated and can show a negative test result (rapid tests are free and easy to get everywhere in Germany).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has always been a brilliant opportunity for me to connect with locals and allowed me to get to know the places I visited much closer, whilst also making new friends.

Now I want to return the favour and welcome guests to my family home!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too much music to list, but some favourites are Wu Lyf, Shame, Young Fathers, Tame Impala, The National and Khruangbin.

Movies: No Country for Old Men, the Pianist, Milk. My favourite TV series are Peaky Blinders and The Handmaid's Tale. Other than that I tend to mainly watch documentary films and series, usually about nature or true-crime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am obsessed with scuba diving, so most of my favourite travel memories are of that... My most fascinating dive to date was a black water dive in Cozumel. I still cannot believe the things I saw. I can show you some pictures of it if you're interested. But if you really don't care about diving at all, maybe don't bring the subject up with me, as I often find it hard to stop talking about it once I start 😅
