About Me
Hello there :)
I just recently decided, to quit my university degree and start travelling. Instead I'm starting an online bachelor degree soon!
Travelling, I love to be able to meet new people, get to know different places and cultures and I feel, that with couchsurfing you have the opportunity to experience places in a different way. Meeting locals always gives a different perspective over a place and shows you the personality of a city and gives you the opportunity to expand your horizons.
About me growing up:
I was born in Berlin, though never really lived there. Instead I grew up in Potsdam (capital of the state surrounding Berlin) for the first 10 years of my life and then the 9 years after, in Landau (a small town in the southwest of Germany, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate). There I started being active in my local FridaysForFuture group.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live to experience places I travel to, from the eye's of a local
Interests
In my free time I love reading a good book and listen to some music to chill out and relax or get my mind off things, which baking and cooking also do for me. One of my absolute favourite things to do though, is dancing ballroom dance (from salsa to tango and walz, you name it), but I also really love working with plants, no matter whether indoors or outdoors.
I love to just sit in a café or a place in nature, slowing down a bit and enjoying the moment.
Other hobbies I have are hiking and spending time in nature, doing snorkeling and skiing.
Another thing that's really important for me is activism for nature, I'm active at a political group called "FridaysForFuture", a youth-led global climate strike movement, demanding immediate action from policymakers to protect our planet.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite book is Lord of the rings, probably one of the best books that's been written sofar.
Favorite artist is Ed Sheeran, though I'm a big fan of soft pop and indie music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably up to date the most amazing thing (beside quitting my university program to start travelling and studying online instead) was a sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor (Egypt)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd absolutely love to share my experience with baking and cooking vegan and vegetarian dishes, aswell as dancing or some tips when it comes to plants.
I'm also really happy to learn about any of your traditions, hobbies or things you like.
