About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep my travel and volunteer bug alive by meeting lots more couchsurfers now I am in my hometown and country!

ABOUT ME

Funny, outgoing, fun to be around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to help others, I think when you travel to another country for whatever reason it can always be a bit scary. Knowing someone who can host you, show you around, teach you the language and learn about the culture is so helpful. I love CouchSurfing for this reason and if I can return the favour anytime be it in my country or another I know well, then get in touch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was really against joining couchsurfing, thinking it would be unsafe for a female solo traveller. I was WRONG. I enjoyed the experience and it felt more like a cultural exchange than staying somewhere for free. I got a lot more out of couchsurfing than I'd imagined or hoped for.

Interests

Learning about another culture through travel, I quit my job to travel round the world that makes my life pretty interesting right now. I love to help others and whilst I have been traveling I also have made time to volunteer for worthy causes. I like to try and learn the language where I am, right now learning Spanish and using my Spanglish most days!, like reading, travel writing (I write a blog), love cooking and eating food, like dancing and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I have done was quitting my job after eight years to travel the world, still amazed and cannot believe I am on a world trip of my lifetime.

Seeing the Salar de Uyuni was simply stunning (Salt Flats of Bolivia) and finishing the Inka Trek with my Dad in Peru to see Machu Pichu was very memorable!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In
