About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making things better - at home, in the world, inside myself...

ABOUT ME

I'm creative, and like being out in nature, yoga, dance (tango, swing or salsa, anyone?) ceramics & fine art. I'm pescatarian, non-smoking and thoughtful. It's my dream to visit Turkey, Egypt and the Grand Canyon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in other cultures, and nature. I can teach people about yoga, vegetarian cooking and nutrition, and I have an architecture degree, so I can help design your guest house or kitchen!

I love hosting folks, and don't feel CS is transactional... BUT... I do try to leave a couch in as good or better shape than I found it, and try to repay kindnesses, like providing a meal or cleaning up if a meal was provided.
***If you'd like to stay with us, please have references, mention something about your willingness to clean up after yourself, and to contribute to the household.

Interests

Reading, meditation, pottery, yoga, kayaking, hiking and dance. I also grow fruits and veggies and keep chickens.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love this idea of sharing and commoning. I'm in a local Timebank and mostly cut hair. But I can also advise you about nutrition, insomnia (beating it, not getting it!), architectural design, and divorce. I've run a support group for divorcing moms since 2004, an Egg Co-op since 2012, and a Girls Who Code Club in 2017.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All of the above. Plus 50+ years of life and travel experiences. Just ask!
