Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be the change I want to see in the world.
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Connecticut, attended university in New York, and then moved here to Boston! People say I'm a friendly person and I've got a pretty devilish sense of humor once you get me going.
My first overseas trip was in '99 when I went to go visit some family friends in Germany, and I've been hooked on traveling ever since.
PHILOSOPHY
Make your mind up to be happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I finally have a couch/futon to offer! I work weird hours, so I don't always have the availability to host, but if I do, I'd love to have you!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. I hosted Ken and Chris for Thanksgiving and Christmas with my crazy family. I love it!
Up until recently I couldn't host, but was more of a coffee/drink meetup person. I love showing Boston to visitors!
Interests
*Travel - I love historical spots, nice views, and local pubs
*Sports - Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, Celtic FC (SPL). When the weather's nice, I usually meet up with friends to play baseball or kickball.
*Politics - I lean to the left but love hearing other views
*Languages - I can speak Spanish and some German...always looking for people I can practice on!
*Other - cooking and baking (usually my famous cookies), coffee & tea, street art, meeting new people, tattoos, taking photos, concerts, building & painting, trivia, collecting postcards, and boats. I really want to learn how to sail.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch mostly action and comedy movies. Some drama, too.
Music... mostly alternative rock, but you'll find me listening to anything from classical to rap to electronica.
I read mostly non-fiction and poetry books...Derrick Brown is my favorite poet - I had the chance to interview him and he made me laugh so hard I was crying by the end of it.
*TV
How I Met Your Mother, Chopped, Arrested Development, Community, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Big Bang Theory.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing on the very edge of the Cliffs of Moher. It was awesome to see the Atlantic from the other side.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot of weird stuff.
I'm told I make really delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, so I'd be happy to share those :)
