Hi! I'm Charlotte, 25 years old. I live in Utrecht, just graduated for my study in theatre. I LOVE African dancing, it's so energetic! =)I want to enjoy the small ánd the big things in life, looking to the pretty side. Keep positive!I'm an inquisitive and enthusiastic person. I am a gogetter and a quick learner. I'm a peoples person, like to hang out with my friends, partying, making or listening music, sing, dance, laugh, talk, whatever!On the other side I like to search the quiet sometimes, to observe the world around me and to philosophize about life.I love to travel to stimulate myself, to develop myself and my perspectives about my surroundings. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately my room is not big enough to be able to host someone.. However, I'm always in for an encounter or a coup of coffee! Or I will take you to places in Utrecht or Amsterdam.
I often stay at my boyfriend's who's hosted a lot of people.

I think it's great to meet people from all over the world! To break boundaries, exchange, share stories and experiences.. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some couches and I think it's great! It's amazing to 'come home' in an unknown country (for me).

Getting to know other people, be inspired, share interests and cultures. Exchange! Because of couchsurfing you come to the non-touristic places, meet the 'locals', getting the chance to really dive into the city or country itself! That's why I'm loving it. CS's built on trust and that's great.

Centres d'intérêt

Theatre! Making or visiting.
Movies. Music, making and listening. I like to sing and I play a little bit of the guitar and piano.
Dancing, off course =) especially African dancing.

&I love nature, I can really enjoy the small things like nice smelling flowers, spring, summer and birds singing. Off course I enjoy the big things as well like the sea or the sun =) I love the sun!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm a great fan of Tim Burton! Big fish is one of my favourites.Besides that I like all kind of movies: Studio Ghibli, Almost Famous, Empire Records, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, Pride and Prejudice, Amelie, Fantastic Mr Fox, etc.I love to read (and to be read to) Toon Tellegen. He's a Dutch writer who writes children stories with mature philosophical themes. Music, again very varied: Kings of Convenience =), Manu Chao, Sufjan Stevens, Yann Tiersen, Detektivbyran, 70's (funk, soul, pop), folk, Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, France Gall, Norah Jones, Vampire Weekend, The Cat Empire, Shantel, The Tellers, Jack Johnson, Nick Drake, Krezip, Acda en de Munnik ..I'm lit with Balkan beatz music and the Wicked Jazz Sounds by my boyfriend =)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My journey (6,5 months) through West-Africa was really amazing and impressive..My whole theatre education and the training time was one big trip where I was searching for where I stand for as a person and which theatre I want to make.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach theatre and African dance if you want ;) some Yann Tiersen songs at the piano, give a massage.. anything!
I have a lot of interests, so we can share experiences with each other, be in the moment, whatever. I'm open for it.
