About Me
Life has lead me on a pretty strange journey and I have stumbled through it mostly in awe and confusion. There is still much I haven't seen or done but then again there's plenty I have. Not all of it's on a map and if you ask me the right questions I may tell you about some of it. I don't know why I am the way I am but it's safe to say I'm past the point of no return and you either get me or you don't.
Things around here these days are pivoting toward simplicity and less and less boat rocking, apple cart flipping and not looking before we leap. Every now and then I am surprised to hear my own voice being the one of reason in conversations. I am still down for an adventure; but I will probably make sure we all have the proper safety equipment, sunscreen, first aid kits and rain gear to bring with us.
Alright alright, enough about that. Let me tell you about "Charlotte's Home for Wayward Girls and Boys"
It all started many many many many years ago when my aunt opened her door to all of her nieces and nephews who needed a place to land and get on their feet. It was "Auntie Eleanor's Home for Wayward Girls and Boys." I am simply extending the invitation to non relatives.
That said, our home is our sanctuary and it is open to respectful and serious travelers.
You will find I enjoy a comfortably simple lifestyle that I share with two precious dogs. We are very happy to invite you to stay with us and you are more than welcome to cuddle the dogs. Me not so much... I am shy that way.
As for my part, I am happy to show you my city and region and I appreciate good conversations about politics, religion, history, art and culture.
People say I know a lot about this area and that's probably true. I'd make an excellent tour guide if I had a car. Unfortunately I don't, so unless you have one, or a bicycle, we are a bit limited with the bus and trains.
Ok well looking forward to hosting some more happy travelers!
A dopo!
