Gap year between bachelor's (Urban Planning) and master's (International Development Studies)

ABOUT ME

I love traveling, reading and cooking.

After high school my best friend Julia and I traveled around the world for a year, getting to know as many different people and cultures as we could. Since I won't be able to repeat that experience any time soon, I am also very happy about smaller adventures, any place that's not yet home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love staying with people who are open-minded and up for discussing the deep things in life, but I also enjoy simply having a coffee or beer in the local park. Let's explore some of these back alleys and find out about everyday uses of public space! (Yep, I'm a full-blooded urban planner.) Can't wait to check out your city!

Interests

Meeting people who grew up in a different culture and to engage in a conversation about land and people there. Maybe learning a bit of a new language and some local things.

I love being creative in every way. I especially enjoy making things that I can look at later, like sewing clothes, drawings, photos or food ;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jump into a frozen lake with a hole cut into the 6" thick ice in Estonia. (We had just come out of the sauna, though.)
