About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Ride a bike in the sky. I'm a bit like E.T. - except I never want to go home!

ABOUT ME

I am a very open-minded girl, I always look forward to meeting new people and love discovering new places.

PHILOSOPHY

Never judge a book by its cover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the chance to host yet, as I don't have any couch at home... But will be happy to do so when I live in a bigger apartment. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It was on New Year's in NYC, I had had a few hours sleep in an apartment in Brooklyn. My friend had told me her brother wouldn't mind if I stayed on his couch for the night. I had to wake up at 6 in the morning to catch a train back to Montreal. I was feeling a bit dizzy, and was trying to open the front door for a few minutes when I realized it was... a closet. I never told anyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow... This could take hours. I'll make it short:
Movies: all of Steve McQueen II's movies(especially "Shame" and "Hunger"), I also like Sam Mendes and Wes Anderson. I love art films in general.
TV shows: THE WIRE!
Music: a bit of everything, mostly bands from the 60/70s (The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival and of course Neil Young), but also The Black Keys, London Grammar... Indie in general.
Books: Jane Austen, Marina Lewycka, Roald Dahl... My favorite book ever is "The Bone People" by Keri Hulme, the story of three amazing characters in New Zealand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed up a tree when I was 8.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to cook really nice quiches and crepes. And I have a looot of yummy gluten-free recipes. :)
