Like most people my age, I enjoy books, movies, and tv shows. However, my range of interests is slightly bigger than merely pop culture. I love learning, and seek knowledge of pretty much anything, including physics, history, philosophy, anthropology, linguistics, architecture and communication technology. Language is one of my greatest passions. I teach English as a foreign language in secondary education, and aim to master as many languages as I can. Also, I love to cook.

Some of my favourite movies include Dead Poets Society, Shaun of the Dead, Juno, My Neighbour Totoro, Persepolis and There Will Be Blood. I also love movies by Judd Apatow and Kevin Smith, and TV series like Veep, Girls, Parks and Recreation and Orange Is The New Black.

My all-time favourite bands are Tool and Pink Floyd, but I also like jazz, techno, singer/songwriter, indie and some Dutch music.

I love learning stuff I know nothing about yet. However, I never consider myself an expert on any subject that might be interesting to people. I just absorb. And share what I have absorbed, I guess.
