ABOUT ME

My name is cHarlotte. I am 28 years old, and I am an illustrator. Until now, I have published
two children’s books and I am working on the third for a publishing house that I love.
But nothing is ever certain in this job.

I live with my boyfriend in a house that we are renovating ourselves little by little.
I love challenges like that. We are work a lot every weekend and it is for this reason that
we have never really traveled and have used couch surfing.
At the moment, I am taking a break in Ireland, to improve my English for three months.

I need it for my job (to solicit different publishers further) and maybe for more travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Confidence, friendship and sharing are three very values important for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First, I am interested by surfing because my boyfriend and I are sleeping on the couch, while waiting to renovate the first floor.
But if you like nature and camping, we have a big garden with a beautiful view over fields with some cows, and we have a small caravan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never really travelled, but I hope to travel more after my english classes in Ireland.

I love different genres like pop rock music and classical music.
I am quiet and I love these bands: I Am kloot, Alela Diane, king of convenience, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel,Tracy Chapman,...
I don’t really read novels, but I read children’s books, graphic novels and comic books.
My favourite cartoonists are Nicolas De Crecy (Fr), Anna laura Cantonne (It) and Olivier Jeffers (Ir).
